Orifice Plate for Accurate Flow Measurement in Pipe Systems
An orifice plate is a crucial component used for precise flow rate measurement in pipeline systems. By introducing a controlled pressure drop, it enables accurate calculation of flow rates in both liquid and gas applications. The orifice plate calculator provides efficient measurement by assuming fluid incompressibility, ensuring constant density (ρ) and temperature (T) throughout the tube. For gas applications, the calculation is based on ideal gas behaviour, enhancing measurement reliability.
